What's the role? 

Working closely with existing managers and teams, the post-holder will write and deliver detailed and comprehensive SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and robust Risk Assessments across relevant business areas and departments for BRUSH Transformers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Systematically review current SOP’s and Risk Assessment (RA) documentation across various BTL work streams.
  
• Evaluate and understand the status of existing SOP’s and Risk Assessments through detailed review and analysis in the relevant business areas.
  
• Liaise with managers to produce a plan for completion of SOP’s and Risk Assessments based on prioritisation and value-added.
  
• Utilise appropriate process steps to create new detailed and robust documentation supported with photographic records for each step.
  
• Update SOPs and RAs as necessary when processes change and/or document reviews are due.
•  Liaise directly with the teams conducting these daily work activities including any specialist production engineers to create the necessary documentation.

What we’re looking for: 

• IOSH Managing Safely
• NEBOSH general certificate – desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles relating to Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
• Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
