BRUSH Group provides the energy solutions that help power our built world. From power transformers to switchgear and engineering solutions, for generations, the BRUSH brand has stood for engineering excellence.
Part of the BRUSH Group - ETA projects is a Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering consultancy delivering the design and specification of complex building services systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. Many schemes are developed to achieve ambitious sustainability objectives, including BREEAM certification and compliance with The London Plan.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects, undertaking technical assessments, engineering calculations, and the preparation of design reports and supporting documentation. The role will involve the development and presentation of technical solutions for the replacement and upgrade of critical electrical infrastructure assets, as well as the delivery of new electrical systems.
A significant proportion of ETA's work is undertaken within live healthcare environments, requiring the design and coordination of critical electrical infrastructure including MV/LV transformers, switchgear, standby generation systems, and associated electrical distribution networks. Experience in healthcare electrical infrastructure projects, particularly within operational hospital environments, is highly desirable. However, experience in alternative critical environments will be considered.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience in collaborating with NHS representatives, project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams. They will work closely with mechanical, electrical, public health, sustainability, and specialist engineering disciplines to develop coordinated, resilient, and compliant engineering solutions that support the operational requirements of critical healthcare facilities.
