Management Accountant
Job Introduction
The Management Accountant role has cross-finance responsibility to include both Controllership and FP&A. The role has ownership of the preparation of Monthly Management accounts, the integrity of the General Ledger, the adherence to all accounting and tax reporting requirements and the production of the Statutory Accounts Eta Projects Limited. The role will provide support to the Finance Director – Infra Solutions and will work closely with the Project Management Team to provide effective project control, forecasting and budgeting.
Role Responsibility
Controllership
- Take full responsibility for the Financial Accounts, including month-end prepayments, accruals, payroll, lease accounting, Fixed Asset control and general controllership review
- Ownership of the Balance sheet, including reconciliations and the review process
- Process owner for the consolidation tool load & month end reporting to Group, including integrity of the data and reconciliation to the Trial Balance
- Production of year-end tax pack, statutory accounts and audit packs, including managing external auditors where required.
- Responsible for VAT Reporting
- Insurance declaration
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Responsible for project reporting and providing guidance and technical help to the Project Managers to review project costs and forecast project margins.
- Ensuring the month-end accounts accurately reflect the latest revenues and forecast project margins, and owning the project related balance sheet balances (i.e. deferred & accrued revenues, retentions, etc)
- Producing the Monthly Management Reporting Pack for the Business Management Team.
- Working closely with the Finance Director to produce the Quarterly Forecasts and the Budget for Eta Projects Ltd, including the responsibility for uploading and balancing the forecasts on the consolidation tool.
Other
- Provide cover and support to the Finance Assistant
- Provide ad-hoc support across the BRUSH Group finance function
- Contribute to the continual improvement of processes across the finance function

The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified or part qualified (working towards)
Skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Good excel skills essential (Advanced skills an advantage)
