FP&A Analyst

Job Introduction

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial insights to the finance and operational leadership. Taking an active role in Forecasting the financials of the business and then measuring and explaining Actuals versus forecast.

The FP&A analyst is also supporting the business on process and cost out initiatives.

Role Responsibility

Cost Control

  • Elaborate detailed budget for the different functions and categories of spend
  • Partner with Functional leaders to plan and review commitments and costs incurred
  • Reallocate costs to the relevant cost centre when required

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Establish Forecast by department and cost categories
  • Provide variance analysis versus Forecast
  • Contribute to the monthly closing process, posting journals
  • Financial reporting through our Corporate consolidation tool (OneStream)
  • Coordinate the monthly reporting pack for the business

Hourly Rate / Recoveries

  • Support functional leaders with the tracking of the hours booked by the teams
  • Forecast Hours and financial recovery; explain variances to forecast
  • Calculation of hourly labour rates by functions, communicate on variances

Product Cost Analysis

  • Transversal reporting of the Product Cost… Analysis of Raw Material and Standard Costing for labour across our range of products

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Preferred for CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified

Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Advanced Excel & modelling• Process driven, continuous improvement

Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing corporation is essential.
  • 5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Sap, Oracle, Sage)
