Brush Americas is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to be an essential part of our Finance team who is able to apply principles of accounting to create accounting transactions, analyze financial information, and prepare financial reports. The Ideal Candidate
Are you experienced in working closely with others in the Finance department as well as other departments to reconcile customer invoices, vendor invoices, intercompany payments/receipts, PO’s, and inventory?
Have you participated in the monthly closing activities including general ledger entries, reconciling sub-ledgers, balance sheet accounts, and cash accounts, and reviewing the general ledger in preparation for financial statement reporting?
Have you been part of reconciling accounts to statements and general ledger (subledger, cash, fixed assets, etc.)?
Are you interested in a role where you can make a real difference working both independently and within a group while remaining within a good established team?
Do you want to make a contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and where your experience and qualifications could be successfully utilized?
You will need to be someone who is focused and results driven with an ability to work under pressure and to meet critical deadlines.
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a four year college or university or related field and minimum of 3-5 years’ experience. We are seeking someone who is able to analyze issues and generate solutions to resolve problems, increase productivity, and works efficiently, with a methodical approach and an eye for detail.
