Project Manager

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join BRUSH Transformers based in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of orders, scheduling and contractual deliverables agreed within the tendering process, invoicing and cash collection.

Role Responsibility

  • Execute commercial projects including all associated warranty commitments.
  • Ensure on time delivery of orders along with drawings, invoices, and cash collection.
  • Take requirements agreed within tendering process and effectively planning delivery based on these.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and schedule for each order.
  • Create and maintain key project documentation, including but not limited to, Order Acknowledgements, Scope of works, drawings, project plans, test documents including ITPs and invoicing instructions.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Work with internal and external customers to ensure clear communication of project progress.
  • Manage allocated projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budgeted costs and highlighting issues at the earliest opportunity.
  • Issue drawings to customers and gain approval / report amendments to the business in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate and accurately execute customer project variations.
  • Provide Customers with project trackers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all invoices are completed as agreed T&Cs and payments are received within the timeframe allowed.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • HNC, ONC (or equivalent) in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline is desirable.
  • PRINCE2/APM (or equivalent) trained is desirable.

Skills & Experience:

  • Adaptable and effective Project Manager.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work.
  • Customer focused. 
  • Good communication skills in all media and cross culturally.
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to adapt.
  • Experience in the power systems / utilities sector is desirable.
