Portfolio Director
Job Introduction
To Lead the BRUSH Project Managers and Project Management Office servicing the Products business and Integrated Project Management Function. This role is accountable for the on time and on cost delivery of BRUSH group Contractual obligations covering both Product delivery and solutions delivery.
Role Responsibility
- Creation of the Project Management function governance, creating an End to End delivery process that will be used for both the Products business, and the new Integrated Project Management function
- Accountable for On Time in Full delivery across Products business and Integrated Project Management function, delivered in compliance with internal business standards, legal and compliance requirements.
- Represent the Integrated Project Management team, and be part of the IPM leadership team.
- Line Management of the Product Project Managers and Scheduling team, and matrixed responsibilities of all Project Managers in the acquired businesses.
- Create a team that is right sized to reflect the current portfolio, ensuring the appropriate skills and resource utilisation
- Provide direction to Engineering, Supply Chain, Production and Field Services to ensure on time in full delivery. Ensuring handovers at each stages.
- Manage the Customer relationship for all Product contracts.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time in full, through regular meetings with Project Managers considering Time, Cost, Quality, Customer relationship, Gross Margin, Issue Management, and Variation Management
- Be the point of contact for escalation for the project managers and customer dispute resolution
- Challenge the team for consistent lead time and delivery schedule improvements
- Work with Financial Planning and Analysis for all monthly financial forecasting in line with the financial reporting calendar
- Accountable for ensuring all Risks and Opportunities are managed across the portfolio
- Implement a project management software for the documentation and control of projects
- Onboard all new Project Staff
- Assist Sales and Bid departments as required

The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- A degree background in Engineering, Business or Project Management
- Additional Project Management qualification (if not covered above)

- Good IT skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety environment in which projects will be delivered
Experience
- 10+ years of complex project management or portfolio management experience
- Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
- Experienced in Leadership Roles
- Experience managing FIDIC, NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
- Experience operating under CDM regulations, ATEX, PED.
