Internal Communications Manager
Job Introduction
We have a newly created opportunity for a Group Internal Communications Manager to join us at our soon to be opened new offices in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Reporting to the Group HR Director the candidate will play a critical role in the management of internal and external communications for BRUSH Group across our sites in the UK, Czech Republic, US, Holland and our Global, remotely based, Field Service and Sales teams.
Role Responsibility
The role will drive the engagement of all internal stakeholders across the all BRUSH sites to drive employee understanding of regional goals and objectives and the creation and execution of an externally facing corporate communications media strategy. They are responsible for proactively communicating corporate stories which drive the reputation of BRUSH globally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Internal Communications plans, working through traditional and social media channels to ensure that the company messages are communicated, the audiences are meaningfully engaged, and change is implemented where necessary.
As part of the broader Corporate Communications team, this role also supports major communications initiatives such as philanthropy and Corporate Responsibility.
This standalone position will be varied in tasks and will cover the following
Devises ongoing IC strategy to ensure clear line of sight throughout all stakeholders in the business in order to reach our regional goals and objectives
Utilizes creative and multi-channel Internal Communication techniques
Creates campaign calendar of Internal Communication activity
Builds a strong network of internal relationships
Anticipates internal issues
Creates communications opportunities for staff such as interactive forums and social media projects
Creates and delivers campaigns and content for key initiatives
Manages and edits content and commissions positive news stories
Appoints and manages company Internal Communications ambassadors
Oversees cross-organisational update processes
Ongoing measurement of internal communications success
The Ideal Candidate
Proven results working within Internal Communications role
Experience of developing communications strategy
Familiarity and understanding of new media usage within Internal Communications plans
Adept at managing relationships at senior leader level
Scrupulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to function effectively within a small team and to remain calm under pressure
Tenacious and able to see ideas through to execution
