Services Analyst

Job Introduction

A great opportunity for the role of Services Analyst has arisen within the Finance department at BRUSH. Reporting to the Global Services Finance Director, the successful candidate will be required to provide accurate and meaningful financial information and analysis to drive business strategy and support key decisions. Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to understand business and drive understanding of financial implications of decisions. We will also fully sponsor the ACCA or CIMA professional qualification should you wish to pursue this.

Role Responsibility

 Services Operations:

  • Reporting and analysing the Services financial data, including revenue trends by product line, gross profit, operating cash flow.
  • Owning and publishing key performance indicators such as FSE utilisation rates or hourly rates, working closely with Operations Managers across the group to identify and drive improvements.
  • Supporting global profitability reviews on projects from start to end.

Supporting the Services Forecasting and Budgeting Process:

  • Collation and challenge of all SOP data to provide a basis for the forecast and budget.
  • Detailed analysis of gross margins of opportunities pipeline by product line.
  • Alignment across the BRUSH group of the intercompany revenue and order intake.
  • Forecasting and budgeting of Head Office costs and services recharges.

Global Commercial Support across the BRUSH Services group:

  • Ownership of Field Service hourly rates calculation across the Group, ensuring consistent application of policies across all sites and appropriate rate is used for commercial modelling.
  • Monthly reconciliation and validation of order intake for services business.
  • Provide insightful analysis of the Group’s generators installed base (by product, region, customer,) to support regional footprint & partnerships decisions.
  • Ad hoc request for global sales data (For example, Distributors and Agents).
  • Ensure all data protection activities of personal and special category data; pertaining to current employees, customers, and all other external stakeholders, are done so in line with the company’s data protection policy.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or working towards their ACCA or CIMA Qualification. To succeed in this role the ideal candidate will be able to have the ability to manage large quantities of data and convert them in a meaningful analysis. You will also have advanced Excel skills with the ability to create Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS and produce Graphs. ​
