Financial Planning Analysis Manager
Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Financial Planning Analysis Manager to work within the Finance department for Generator Services based in Pittsburgh, US.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analysing the financial performance for all aspects of services and site Finance. You will provide accurate and meaningful information to drive business strategy and support key decisions of the Management Team.
Role Responsibility
- Finance Business Partner to business heads in Power Generation Services.
- Responsibility for co-ordinating month-end reporting for generator services.
- Ensuring that all local statutory financial and tax obligations are met.
- Working closely with the Power Generation FD to ensure full visibility of results and support forecasting and budgeting process.
- Liaising and building relationships with Departmental Managers.
- Management of recoveries, including calculation of hourly rates for Production, Field Services and Engineering.
- Coordinating and managing the forecasting process for both budgets, quarterly forecasts, and weekly cash calls.
- Actively reviewing and driving profitability whilst identifying key cost drivers and delivering cost reduction solutions.
- Providing and presenting key metrics to the Power Generation management team.
- Own all financial data below Project Margin: Production costs, SG&A and Operating Cash flow.
- Building and implementing a robust cash management process, including a reliable forecasting model.
- Building and deploying an appropriate KPIs to drive appropriate working capital focus across the business, resulting in incremental cash generation. Specific focus on inventory (WIP, raw materials) and Payables.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- CPA, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (10 years post qualification experience).
Skills
- Experience in services business.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Delivery of process improvements.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Advanced excel skills essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge
- Management / Financial Accounting.
- Manufacturing/Service and Project environment.
- ERP / Finance systems.
Experience
- Experience of manufacturing/engineering sector.
- ERP / Finance system improvement.
- Process improvement / simplification.
