Financial Business Analyst

Job Introduction

Reporting to the BRUSH Group Commercial Finance and Operating Director, this role will work closely with commercial and sales teams across the group and take a lead role in ensuring the timely delivery of forecast / budget and insightful analysis of the group opportunity pipeline. It will also identify, plan and drive continuous improvement projects, raising the efficiency and quality of the sales and commercial operations stages. 

Role Responsibility

  • Review and facilitate preparation of orders forecast and budgets down to project margin working closely with the sales, commercial operations and contracts teams
  • Monthly review of order intake and long term order intake forecast
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Provides the Commercial Finance and Operations Director with relevant financial business case analysis to support them to enable effective planning.
  • Communicates financial results for presentation to BRUSH Exec on a monthly basis
  • Partner with cross functional finance teams to ensure effective communication and execution of requirements
  • Sets up and maintains improved automated excel modelling templates to be used for preparation of orders forecast and analysis.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified

Skills

  • Communicates financial information and concepts in a clear, precise, thorough manner to meet the needs of both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Budget / Forecasting consolidations
  • Analytical - organizing information and manipulates data, develops reporting to identify/explain trends, problems and mitigating actions
  • Presence and confidence to interact with senior management. Ability to leverage influence across teams and cultures
  • Advanced Excel (a must)
  • Remains calm under pressure and filters that pressure to positively affect individual performance

Experience

  • 2-5 years of FP&A experience
  • Financial Modelling
