Compliance Manager
Job Introduction
We currently have a great opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join our BRUSH Switchgear site based in South Wales, Blackwood. This position will involve supporting the Quality and Health and Safety Manager in all aspects of business-critical compliance. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the company is fully compliant of National and International standards and regulations relevant to our industry. These include, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, RISQS, Achilles, ENA.
Role Responsibility
- Implementation and maintenance of procedures and systems to meet the requirements of ISO standards including, ISO 90001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Assist with logging CAPA and SharePoint Planner actions.
- Support with monitoring and reviewing Quality, Safety, Health & Environment legislation.
- Manage and conduct internal and external audits, regarding Quality, Safety, Health & Environment.
- Ensure timely completion of audit and Health and Safety Executive Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Assist in collating data to maintain ISO standards including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Conduct site and customer audits as well as supporting the Rail Compliance Manager with the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme.
- Liaise with external bodies on matters of certification.
- Raise purchase requisitions to ensure payment of certification bodies.
- Review and collate internal audit documentation on submission from internal auditors.
- Mentor and train internal auditors.
- Host all on-site certification audits.
- Assist in the development of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety, Health & Environment).
- Support the Quality Manager in operational aspects, driving forward change in line with business needs.
- Continuous improvement of company compliance.
- Generate KPI data in relation to Quality, Safety, Health & Environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience with all elements of the ISO standards including, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001. You will have previous experience of Quality Management and Health and Safety Management systems. You will also be qualified and experienced to lead and conduct internal audits. To succeed in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to meet deadlines and be self-motivated. Formal training in NEBOSH/IOSH/CIEH and exposure of BS EN ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 would be advantageous.
