Business Systems Specialist

Job Introduction

We have a great opportunity for a Business Systems Specialist to join our Business Processes team based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The successful candidate will be accountable for the governance, maintenance and control of dedicated Business Systems. You will also actively support the creation and implementation of the management of change process, and additional control frameworks.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure the scope of the Application and System is clearly documented.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are being adhered to (including renewal of licensing).
  • Managing the appropriate levels of controls in place and communicated ahead of the solution being deployed.
  • Collaborate with the Business partners to provide guidance and establish best practice with regards to Systems and Applications management.
  • Support ongoing Business Processes activities, in line with the strategy.
  • Support functional and cross-functional workshops to drive process adoption and process adherence.
  • Build and configure the technical requirements in the system (incl. dependencies & interfaces).
  • Maintain existing configuration (both technical & permissions.
  • Define clear lines of communication and engage with the Business accordingly.
  • Ensure all Application and /System developments-enhancements follow the Lean Six-Sigma & System implementation project cycles.
  • Ensure all risks are clearly documented as part of the project cycle.
  • Support ongoing Business Processes activities and M&A integration activities.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • SQL programming skills.
  • Net programming skills.
  • Microsoft programming skills.
  • Prince2, PMP or MSP certified.
  • Lean Six-sigma certified.
  • Experience of mergers & acquisitions (M&A).

Skills & Experience: 

  • Strong Project Management skills, delivering to time & cost.
  • Transformation and change projects.
  • LEAN practices.
  • ERP / business systems implementation.
  • Experience in change management; manage & enable the change. management across all Stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in documenting processes, specifications, policies, standards
  • Leadership skills.
